Infrared Thermometer: Sky brightness temperature

The sgpirtE10.b1 datastream contains longwave narrowband brightness temperature measurements from an infrared thermometer that measures the equivalent blackbody brightness temperature of the sky in its field of view. This downwelling infrared thermometer has a narrow field of view for measuring sky temperature and detecting clouds. The data were collected at Facility E10 (Tyro, KS, Extended), which is located at the SGP site (Southern Great Plains), between November 30, 2005, and October 19, 2011.
