Balloon-borne sounding system (BBSS): Vaisala-processed winds, pressure, temperature, and relative humidity from a radiosonde

The awrsondewnpnS1.b1 datastream contains measurements of atmospheric moisture, pressure, temperature, and horizontal wind from a balloon-borne sounding system, specifically Vaisala-processed winds, pressure, temperature, and relative humidity from a radiosonde. This instrument provides in situ measurements of the thermodynamic state of the atmosphere and wind speed and direction. The data were collected at Facility S1 (Supplemental Site on the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, Antarctica), which is located at the AWR site (West Antarctica), between December 4, 2015, and January 19, 2016.
