Bacterial microbiota associated with coral-isolated Ostreobium strains from two rbcL lineages, representative of IndoPacific environmental phylotypes, long-term pre-acclimatized to three ecologically-relevant reef salinities (32.9, 35.1 and 40.2 psu) were characterized by bacterial V5-V7 16S rRNA metabarcoding of cultured thalli and corresponding supernatants, and compared to environmental (Ostreobium-colonized) coral skeletons endolithic communities.
