The proposed National Hydrography Dataset (USGS) Streams/Drainages update for 2017. This layer shows delineation of streams on the Island of Saipan that satisfy the proposed criteria for inclusion in the 2017 National Hydrography Dataset update, including (1) clearly defined stream beds, (2) inclusion in prior NHD releases, and (3) significant surface hydrology flow accumulation values based on high-resolution LiDAR data. Significant field work, ground-truthing, and review by local experts were included in this dataset update.
