The U45 dataset is a public underwater test dataset created by Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. It contains 45 real underwater images, divided into three subsets: green, blue and hazy. This dataset aims to simulate the color cast, low contrast and haze effects of underwater images. The construction of the U45 dataset involved carefully selecting images from relevant literature and real underwater scenarios. The U45 dataset is primarily used to evaluate the performance of underwater image enhancement algorithms, especially their applications in solving color correction and image sharpness issues.
