This dataset corresponds to the article 'Carbon degradation and mobilisation potentials of thawing permafrost peatlands in Northern Norway,' authored by Sigrid Trier Kjær, Sebastian Westermann, Nora Nedkvitne, and Peter Dörsch (in preparation). Samples of peat permafrost and thermokarst were collected in Finnmark, Northern Norway. Gas emissions were measured during approximately 350 days of incubation, with elemental analyses conducted at the onset of the study.
