Annual average daily traffic on the national road network

The average annual daily traffic (TMJA) of a road section is obtained by calculating the yearly average of the number of vehicles circulating on that section, in all directions, during a day. These delayed-time traffic data are usually accompanied by an estimate (as a percentage) of the number of heavy goods vehicles used in their composition.
