Interactions Between Integrin subunit alpha 9 beta 1 and VCAM 1 Promote Neutrophil Hyperactivation and Experimental Deep Vein Thrombosis

To evaluate post-DVT transcriptional responses, we performed bulk RNA-sequencing of neutrophils from mice with DVT and compared them to mice subjected to sham surgery. Total neutrophil mRNA was isolated at 3 hours post-surgery and sequenced. Furthermore, To evaluate the changes in transcriptional response following neutrophil integrin alpha9 VCAM 1 interactions, we performed unbiased RNA sequencing of 1) WT neutrophils (unstimulated and stimulated with VCAM 1 and TNF alpha) and 2) stimulated neutrophils from WT and alpha9 KO mice.
