1/5 Scale Reinforced Concrete Bare Frame with Code Compliant Seismic Detailing, Frame 2

Similar to the first frame second frame did not have partition walls, however, code compliant ductile reinforcement design was selected. Ductility was controlled by appropriate longitudinal/transverse reinforcement detailing and also by sufficient splice length for longitudinal column reinforcement. A similar pseudo-static test procedure of to first frame is applied. However, target inter-story drift ratios are different. These were 0.7%, 1.1%, 1.5%, 2%, 2.5%, 3.4% on the first story of second frame. Impact hammer excited vibration was applied in a similar manner to the first frame.
