Catalytic strategies for asymmetric six-membered N,O-heterocyclic synthesis

N,O-heterocyclic compounds are very useful in biology and chemistry, however, their synthesis especially asymmetric synthesis is still rare. This thesis develops novel synthetic methods by using chiral gold or phosphoric acid catalysis to afford a range of enantioenriched N,O-heterocyclic compounds from readily available substrates.
