The aim of this study is to evaluate the gut microbiota of patients with IBD who are undergoing colonoscopic screening for colorectal cancer. Faecal samples were acquired in the peri-colonoscopy period and processed for 16S rRNA sequencing to analyse the bacterial gut microbiota.
