Spectral energy distributions of radio-loud AGN
收藏资源简介:
With this proposal we will construct a comprehensive library of Xray to midIRradioloud quasar spectral energy distributions for a single epoch ( z1 ),using a sample that is precisely matched to a companion sample of radio quietquasars. In doing so, we will decouple luminosity effects from evolutionaryeffects and so determine the amount of radiation that is absorbed andreprocessed by the torus, and how this depends on luminosity. The SED librarywill represent a fundamental resource for future investigations of the accretionhistory of massive black holes, and will allow us to reconcile conflictingresults on AGN obscuration at different wavelengths and to answer key questionsabout the radioloud/radioquiet dichotomy. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
