Dataset display service: Harmful organisms – black aleurodide (Aleurocanthus spiniferus) D.D. No 417/2024

The Regional Plant Health Sector has identified areas infected with Aleurocanthus spiniferus in the municipalities of Arenzano, Castelnuovo Magra and Luni. It is a quarantine pest that is relevant to the European Union already present in other areas of Italy and Europe and that mainly attacks citrus plants, but also vines, apples, pear, khaki and some ornamental plants. Actions to combat the insect have already been defined and constant monitoring has been planned to prevent its spread across the territory.
