The progression of N<sub>2</sub> dissolution to outgassing along the cooling curve for the 0.034 N<sub>2</sub> / 0.966 C<sub>2</sub>H<sub>6</sub> sample from Figure 6. <b>figS1.n2-c2h6_SLV_spec.png: </b>The spectra color-coded in green were taken before the outburst while the sample was liquid; the blue spectra were collected after the outburst event where temperatures were between the two sides of the SLV curve; and the purple spectra fall along the S<sub>E</sub>L<sub>N</sub>V side of the curve. We find that a small amount of N<sub>2</sub> was present in the sample while in the liquid phase but once the C<sub>2</sub>H<sub>6</sub>-rich material freezes and an outburst occurs, seemingly all N<sub>2</sub> exsolves. However, N<sub>2</sub> does dissolve into the system again once temperatures are sufficiently low.<b>figS1.n2-c2h6_SLV_spec-norm.csv:</b> Spectra between 2300-3000 cm<sup>-1</sup> as presented in the accompanying figure. The spectra are normalized to better illustrate the variation in N<sub>2</sub> content along the cooling path. P-T data points shown in the left panel are available in the 'Data behind Figures 4-6' file.<b>n2-c2h6_SLV_spec-bg-rem.csv: </b>Spectra used in Figure S1 between 800-3200 cm<sup>-1</sup> and unnormalized with background removed.
