Digital Hydrogeological Map 1:100,000 - Areas of Artesian Tensile Groundwater

Dissemination of the areas of artesian groundwater as a specialist layer of the digital hydrogeological map 1:100,000. The illustration is recommended together with the separate partition layers groundwater level and groundwater level. Zoom limit min. 1:200 000 to max. 1:50 000. Artesian strained groundwater is groundwater whose groundwater pressure area is in the area considered above the earth's surface. The areas of artesian groundwater were determined by intersection of the respective groundwater surface with the DGM50 or DGM25 of the State Office for Digitization, Broadband and Surveying. Since this is based on a 50-m or 25-m grid, the graphically smoothed boundary of these areas for the map representation cannot be considered as a sharp line. The dHK100 was created in the period 2000 to 2015 (planning region 14 Munich to 2019) by planning region. The dHK100 is not systematically updated. The planning region-by-region processing over longer periods of time can lead to geometric and attributive inconsistencies between the vector data colliding there along the planning region boundaries. These are due to different basic cards from which the cards are derived. Geometry and legend units are designed for the overview scale 1:100,000 (1 cm on a map corresponds to 1 km in nature) and are generally highly generalized. The dHK100 or HK100 is intended as a basis for large-scale considerations. It does not replace detailed studies and assessment by a specialist office in the planning of local projects. The scale-related statement accuracy does not change due to the scale-independent visualization possibilities of digital maps. For further interpretations, which combine or intersect the map book with other spatial data sets, it should be noted that a intersection of spatial data of strongly different resolution or different target scales or different type of attribution can lead to implausible or difficult to interpret results.
