X-ray and FHIL emission lines as a geometry probe: The case of Mrk 359

We propose a multiwavelength campaign to observe the Narrowline Seyfert 1(NLS1) AGN Mrk 359, both with XMMtextit{Newton} RGS and VLT Xshooter toinvestigate the detailed Xray and optical properties of a strong forbidden highionization line (FHIL hereafter) source, and probe the connection of the Xrayemission lines with the optical FHILs. With this observation we will obtainaccurate flux measurements of the emission lines as well as accurate velocityshifts.
