Pollinator virome dynamics

We sequenced the meta-transcriptomes and small RNAs of sympatric bees and flies across three time points in one year, to identify and describe RNA viruses, and explore the factors influencing their transmission. Each library is a pool of RNA from several insect samples collected at the same time in 10 farms in the Southern England in spring or summer 2016. In addition to RNA sequencing, we also recorded plant-insect interactions for each species as well as a survey of flower diversity and density at each farm and time point.
