It collects all valid Kala-azar surveillance data since the implementation of online direct disease reporting in 2004. The database contains statistical information including the number of incident cases, incidence rate, number of deaths, and mortality rate across multiple dimensions such as region, age group, gender, occupation, and disease category. This database is primarily used for monitoring and analyzing the epidemic prevalence and distribution characteristics of Kala-azar in China.
