Metagenomic DNA sequences of root endorhizosphere and bulk soil of Wheat and Barley of hot desert of India

Root and soil samples were obtained from cultivated wheat and barley in Bikaner (a hot desert), India, to investigate the culturable and unculturable microbial diversity. Additionally, interactions between the microbiomes of these crops were also studied with those of cold deserts to identify transient microbial communities.
