In the summers of 2020 and 2021 we undertook an eDNA metagenomic study of fish assemblages in several small Ozark streams. Water samples were collected at the same time that the fish assemblage was sampled using seining and electrofishing techniques. The goal of the study was to compare RAM versus eDNA metagenomic techniques for assessing fish assemblage composition.
