Ophthalmic floor examination in diabetes - primary care, proportion (%) - Target level ≥ 96
收藏资源简介:
Percentage of people, 18 years of age and older, with diabetes in primary care who have had an eye examination at some point in the last two years. The recommendation in the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines is that people without known retinopathy should have an eye examination every three years if they have type 2 diabetes. People with known retinopathy should be examined more frequently. The National Board of Health and Welfare has stated for the indicator thus defined as the target level that at least 96 per cent must have undergone an ophthalmic examination. The current target level actually refers to patients with type 2 diabetes, but since the majority of patients treated in primary care belong to the sample, the target level is considered to be representative.
