Model simulation results for "Divergent trends in the seasonal amplitude of atmospheric CO2 across the globe"
收藏资源简介:
GEOS-Chem Global Gridded CO2 Simulation Dataset (1981–2022) This dataset provides monthly mean global atmospheric CO2 concentrations on a 2x2.5 grid, covering the period from 1981 to 2022. The data was generated using the GEOS-Chem atmospheric transport model to evaluate the impact of various surface carbon flux components (natural fluxes and anthropogenic emissions) on atmospheric CO2 concentrations. We also post the grided CO2 amplitude of control simulation. Simulation Details and Carbon Flux Drivers The dataset comprises 2 Control Simulations and 48 Sensitivity Simulations, all covering 1981–2022 with a consistent spatial resolution of 2x2.5. 1. Control Simulations The control runs are driven by the following key carbon flux inputs: Natural Carbon Fluxes: Derived from CAMS or Jena carbon flux products. Anthropogenic CO2 Emissions (Fossil Fuels): Sourced from the Open-source Data Inventory for Anthropogenic CO2 (ODIAC) and the Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (CDIAC). 2. Sensitivity Simulations The sensitivity simulations are consistent with the control runs, but are designed to isolate the individual effects of major flux components by sequentially excluding their impacts. These components are: Land Carbon Fluxes Ocean Carbon Fluxes Anthropogenic Emissions All Surface Carbon Fluxes Important Note: Detailed explanations for the simulation methodologies and the precise setup for each sensitivity simulation are described in the main text of the associated publication.
