Areas with natural presence of asbestos - green stones (category 3 d.m. ambient n.101 of 18 March 2003)

The sources of environmental contamination by asbestos also include alluvial deposits related to riverbeds for the outflow of liquid and solid flows from the outcropping territories of rocks containing asbestos. The dataset represents the delimitation of the areas with the presence of sediments containing asbestos, based on the current state of knowledge, which allows to confirm the presence of asbestos minerals in the basins of the SINNI and MERCURE rivers.
