Yosemite National Park - Wilderness Itinerary Locations - Open Data

Itinerary Zone locations in Yosemite Wilderness to identify where a visitor plans to camp on an overnight wilderness trip. This layer was based off of Wilderness Zones layer. Each Wilderness Zone was split into smaller zones based on best professional opinion. Itinerary Zones were common camping locations and split into likely visitor camping locations. Care was taken to make sure the zones were not too small for visitors to easily identify them. Purpose is to provide itinerary locations needed for recreation.gov wilderness permits and assign itinerary zones that will be helpful for wilderness management. IRMA Data Store Reference
