Sw Facility (OpenData)

This entity describes a constructed holding area (for example a basin, wetland or swale) or an installation (for example a manufactured filtration system), for the processing of stormwater runoff to remove contaminants and/or to detain runoff for flood management. One SwFacility may incorporate multiple sub-Facilities. It is a Child on the network and does not break the flow of Water through the stormwater network. The Stormwater network drains surface water from the land, buildings and roading system, and transports it into the waterway network or ocean. SwFacility assets are represented in SAP as functional location objects. It is spatially abstracted to an Area. Entity type: Thing.
