De novo transcriptome assembly of walking catfish (Clarias batrachus)

Indian air-breathing walking catfish (Clarias batrchus) is a facultative air breather. It inhabits polluted water bodies and often faced by high environmental ammonia and hypoxia. In this study we have performed the transcriptome sequencing of both control as well as ammonium chloride treated samples. The differential expression pattern of the genes in the liver and brain are studied in this study.
