收藏资源简介:
This is a development key figure, see questions and answers on kolada.se for more information. Proportion of patients with ischemic stroke and atrial fibrillation who have anticoagulant treatment when discharged from hospital. Treatment with anticoagulants in patients with ischaemic stroke and atrial fibrillation reduces the risk of the patient recovering from stroke or other cardiovascular disease. However, treatment entails an increased risk of bleeding, especially in elderly people. Many patients with ischemic stoke and atrial fibrillation should be considered for treatment with anticoagulants, after individual consideration of other diseases and very old age. Treatment is a high priority measure in the national guidelines for stroke. Numerator: Number of patients as described by the denominator treated with oral (tablet) anticoagulants upon discharge from hospital. Denominator: Total number of registered patients with ischemic stroke who have atrial fibrillation and who survived the acute stage. Data is available according to gender breakdown.
