This dataset is established by collecting and analyzing quarterly medicine box consumption data of customers across all provinces in China, aiming to understand customers' purchasing power and consumption preferences. With this dataset, all enterprises in this industry can gain a better insight into the demands of customers at different tiers. By communicating with high-tier customers 1 to 2 times per month, mid-tier customers 1 to 2 times per quarter, and low-tier customers 1 to 2 times every six months, enterprises can formulate more precise marketing and export strategies.
1. Data Collection: Collect quarterly transaction data related to medicine boxes from customers across all provinces in China.
2. Data Processing: Classify, merge and aggregate the collected data to support subsequent analysis.
3. Algorithm-based Processing: The demand index is calculated as (minimum single-order quantity / maximum single-order quantity + minimum single-order consumption amount / maximum single-order consumption amount) * k, where k is the consumption coefficient. China is divided into four major economic regions: Eastern China, Northeast China, Central China, and Western China. Based on empirical values, the k value is set to 1.1 for Eastern China, 1.15 for Northeast and Central China, and 1.2 for Western China.
4. Data Classification and Tiering: Divide customers into three tiers based on the calculated demand index: customers with a score of 1.5 and above are marked as "high-tier customers", those with a score within the range of 1.2 to 1.5 are marked as "mid-tier customers", and those with a score of 1.2 or below are marked as "low-tier customers".
