SPECTRAL TIMING STUDIES OF IRAS 18325-5926
收藏资源简介:
Here we propose a simultaneous NuSTAR and XMMNewton (100+50ks) observation ofIRAS 183255926, a highly variable type2 Seyfert galaxy and one of the very fewwith a claim of a broad FeK profile. Archival data have previously beeninsufficient to distinguish between a relativistically broadened Fe line and ablend of narrow Gaussians. However, we will be able to break the degeneracythanks to the uninterrupted coverage of the NuSTAR bandpass extending well>10keV. Additionally, this source shows one of the clearest lowfrequencylagenergy spectra to date with lags well defined up to 10keV. With NuSTAR wewill extend our lag analysis up to >50keV, providing some of the most robusttests of Fourierbased interband time lag models to date. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
