The insulation thickness of wires and cables is a critical criterion for evaluating the physical properties of their insulation layers. Thickness is closely associated with the wear resistance, service life, and protective efficacy of the insulation part. Inspecting and testing the insulation thickness of wires and cables helps determine whether the insulation meets relevant standards. Non-compliant products will greatly endanger the lives and property of the general public. Prompting samples with non-compliant insulation thickness provides a basis for enterprises to manage product quality, assists enterprises in technical improvement, and offers important references for government quality supervision and consumer product selection, thereby reducing potential social security risks in advance. 1. Data Collection: Select six detection points on the insulation section of each sample for thickness testing, and record the measured thickness values. 2.
