It mainly collects and collates hypertension prevalence data from four national health service surveys conducted in 1993, 1998, 2003 and 2008. This database organizes hypertension prevalence data across multiple dimensions including gender, region and age group, and provides online query and download functions for the data. In this dataset, hypertension prevalence refers to the proportion of people aged 35 and above in the surveyed areas who have been diagnosed with hypertension by a physician.
