Bonus Covid-19 Bufaline Companies

The dataset refers to the cleared applications that adhered to the notices relating to the disbursement of the COVID-19 one-off bonus, reserved for companies in the buffalo sector with at least one production/operational unit (stall where buffaloes are reared) in the territory of the Campania Region, to address the negative effects that the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency has produced on the regional socio-economic fabric and on the weakest sections of the population. The purpose of the bonus is to support companies in the buffalo sector, affected by the current economic and financial crisis caused by the COVID-19 health emergency, by granting a one-off non-repayable contribution (bonus). The one-off non-repayable contribution is paid in proportion to the number of buffalo heads reared and entered in the herd register on 28 February 2020 and/or on the basis of the data in the holding file on the same date updated to the BDN (National Database), expressed in LU (livestock units) according to the following conversion table: buffalo heads over two years old 1 LU buffalo heads from 6 months to two years 0,6 LU buffalo animals less than 6 months old 0,4 LU A contribution of EUR 38 was paid for each LU. For buffalo holdings with up to 52 LU, also in view of the high employment of manpower absorbed by livestock activities, a one-off non-repayable contribution of EUR 2 000 was granted.
