Soil monitoring data: Soil depths of Platone and Taurene parishes

The dataset includes information on the soil depths in Platone and Taurene parishes carried out between 2021 and 2023 within the framework of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism project ‘Improving sustainable soil resource management in agriculture’ (E2SOILAGRI), which were used for the development of the Latvian soil classification 2023. The data include information on the depths, laboratory analyses carried out and a full description of all depths. Data were collected by experts from the University of Latvia and transferred to the State Plant Protection Service after the end of the project.
