Annual monitoring of the evolution and incidence of soil erosion in Andalusia (1992 to 2020)

Application of the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) to the region of Andalusia for annual erosion monitoring. This parametric model estimates the value in metric tons per hectare per year of the amount of soil removed by laminar water erosion and in streams from information referring to six control variables. It also contains individualized information about one of the variables: the R factor (rain efficiencies). The entire series has been recalculated for improvements in the calculation of rainfall erosivity. In addition and taking advantage of the recalculation of the complete series, the C factor used in one of the years has been adjusted to the one available closest to the calculation date. The content includes both the raw data series of soil losses and rainfall erosivity (unclassified raster data), as well as the classified raster data (series, mean and exploitation of data for the Environment Report in Andalusia "IMA").
