The data from this experiment forms part of a larger study to examine the venom of endemic Australian sea-anemones to discover novel toxins that may have potential for development into pharmaceuticals. The tissue (tentacles – inner & outer, mesenterial filaments & gametes) was collected from two individuals and preserved in RNAlater. Sequencing - Illumina NGS – HiSeq 2500, 100bp paired end, PolyA enriched, barcoded. Tissue collected when venom expression would be highest in the animals.
