The Magellanic Clouds harbour a large sample of high-mass X-ray binary (HMXB)systems at a moderate and well known distance with low Galactic foregroundabsorption. In the course of the eROSITA all-sky surveys the Large MagellanicCloud is scanned frequently due to its close vicinity to the south eclipticpole. This provides the unique opportunity to find new low luminosity persistentHMXBs. We propose one 20 ks and two 60 ks XMM-Newton observations of three newlow luminosity persistent HMXBs. Optical spectra taken for one of the threetargets show the presence of a Be companion. Dedicated on-axis observations ofour three proposed systems will provide the unique opportunity to study thespectral and timing characteristics of this scarcely studied type of HMXB. [truncated!
