List of plants authorized to manufacture, repair or modernize technical devices as well as materials and elements used for their production, repair or modernization

<p>Pursuant to Art. 9 of the Act of December 21, 2000 on technical inspection, technical equipment as well as materials and elements used for their production, repair or modernization may be manufactured, repaired or modernized by entities authorized, issued by the body of the competent technical inspection unit in the form of an administrative decision, unless specific provisions provide otherwise - the authorization is not required in the case of manufacturing technical devices and their components that are placed on the Polish market on the basis of the provisions of EU directives and in the case of technical devices specified in art. 20a of the act on technical inspection.</p> <p>The authorization is also not required when the repair or modernization entity provides such a service occasionally and applies the appropriate repair or modernization technology, agreed and supervised by the body of the competent technical inspection unit in accordance with Art. 9 sec. 1b of the act on technical inspection.</p> <p>The requirement to have an authorization applies to both domestic and foreign plants.</p>
