Air capacity in the effective root space

The evaluation map shows the derived values for the air capacity (AC) of the pore space of the total soil at field capacity of the effective root space in the form of LK stages. These input data are necessary for the assessment of the soil component function "Filter and buffer for pollutants" and were determined according to the Saxon soil assessment instrument (LfULG, 2009) depending on the fine soil type and coarse soil content, dry raw and storage density of the soil as well as humus contents of the mineral soil or substance volume of the peat species groups.
