This entity describes the area surrounding an airport runway where rules exist in the district plan to control or restrict specific activities which are likely to encourage bird flight movements, which in turn may pose a threat to aircraft operations. The geometries are derived by buffering out around the airport runway and clipping to the Christchurch District TLA boundary.
