CDEM Road Closure (OpenData)

This entity describes Civil Defence Emergence Management (CDEM) Road Closures which can be used publicly on maps and apps to help inform the public about the locations of roads which are closed or restricted. The CDEM Road Closure feature captures the following locations (available from a picklist): · Road Closure Reason – why the road is closed/restricted e.g. Flooding, Rockfall, Crash · Road Closure impact – how the road is affected by the Closure Reason e.g. Closed, Reduced Other non-picklist fields: · Road Closure Start – The date and time the closure/restriction was put in place · Road Closure End – The date and time the closure/restriction was removed · Estimated Reopening – The date and time we think the closure/restriction will be removed, based on the information available at the start time. This can be reviewed and updated as needed. · Location Description – The name of the road the closure is on e.g. Worcester Street · Information Description – The detail of the affected location e.g. Between Barbadoes St and 250 Worcester Street. Or: From 285 Worcester Street, across Fitzgerald Ave to 302 Worcester – Fitzgerald Ave traffic is not affected. It is spatially abstracted to: Line. Entity Type: Event.
