Proteome profiling of IEC-6 cells after treatment with Akkermansia muciniphila (AM), Bifidobacterium longum (BL), or AM-BL combination

To profile the proteome of intestinal epithelial IEC-6 cells in response to treatment with Akkermansia muciniphila, Bifidobacterium longum, or Akkermansia muciniphila + Bifidobacterium longum co-culture. In addition, we also add arabinoxylan (AX) to Akkermansia muciniphila + Bifidobacterium longum combination since we previously found that this glycan enhance their synergistic effect.
