VCBB Eligibility and Broadband Served Status Current

This dataset was developed to show the latest broadband status for address locations in the State of Vermont. The Vermont Community Broadband Board (VCBB) assigns broadband status based off the Public Service Department (PSD) assigned broadband status for wireless locations. Please note the following justifications for assigning VCBB_Status: Wireless locations identified as 'Served 25/3' by PSD are considered 'Underserved' by the VCBB; Any location identified as 'Served 4/1' by PSD is considered 'Underserved' by the VCBB; 'Lacks 4/1' locations identified by PSD are considered 'Unserved' by the VCBB. The VCBB identifies a location as 'Eligible' if the location is 'Served 25/3' with wireless technology or is considered 'Served 4/1' or 'Lacks 4/1' by PSD. This data was last updated from availability data submitted to the State by ISPs in 2024.
