Analysis of variance of field emergence of seed of diploid sugar beet hybrids (Table 3.3, Karpuk doctoral thesis)

This dataset contains Table 3.3 of the doctoral thesis of L. M. Karpuk: "Analysis of variance of field emergence of seed of diploid sugar beet hybrids". Experiment: Experiment 2 – relationship between laboratory and field germination of seed of CMS-based sugar beet hybrids. Factor A – diploid hybrids Ukrainskyi ChS 72, Vesto, Ivanivsko-Veselopodilskyi ChS 84; factor B – laboratory germination grades: 80–85, 86–90, 91–95, over 95%. Five experimental series (2009–2014), three seed lots per hybrid. Table variables: Indicators; sum of squares; degrees of freedom; mean squares; Fisher's F-test; p-value. Field trials were conducted at the Research and Educational Centre of Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University (Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, typical leached chernozem). Sown plot area 64.8 m², harvested plot area 54.0 m², four replications, randomized layout; preceding crop – winter wheat; 40 t/ha of manure and N₁₂₀P₁₀₀K₁₄₀ were applied for primary tillage. The table contains analysis of variance results (sum of squares, degrees of freedom, mean squares, F-test, p-value); calculations were performed in Statistica 6. Research years: 2009–2014.
