The data is sourced from the International Labour Organization (ILO) ILOSTAT database, retrieved via REST API and filtered to Africa ISO3 country codes. It includes structured details such as country codes, country names, data sources, indicator codes, sex disaggregation (total, male, female), rural/urban area classification, disability status classification, observation year, observed values (in thousands), and data status flags. Data is provided at annual frequency and harmonized by ILO using International Conference of Labour Statisticians (ICLS) definitions.
