Freshwater Viral Study from Northern Temperate Lake

We are conducting an exploratory study to examine freshwater viruses within the Turkey Lake Watershed, a collection of lakes to the north of Sault Ste. Marie. The overall goal is to develop a baseline understanding of the viruses that are found within Big Turkey Lake, so further research into viral populations can be better directed. In addition, viral AMGs will be examined.This research fits into broader drinking water research that is being performed by the forWater network.
