transcriptome analysis of Scutellaria baicalensis

Scutellaria baicalensis is a well-known medicinal plant. Therefore, it is of great significance to investigate the genetic information of S. baicalensis and the genes related to the biosynthesis pathway of these compounds. We constructed the full-length transcriptome of S. baicalensis.This study represents an effective application of full-length transcriptomes in medicinal plants without a reference genome sequence and provides an important genetic resource for exploring the active ingredient biosynthesis of S. baicalensis.
