RNA-seq of short-day Chenopodium ficifolium 459, seedlings

Chenopodium circadian experimentIn this study we de novo assembled the transcriptome of Chenopodium ficifolium from RNA-Seq data.RNA was isolated from seedlings of short-day C. ficifolium 459 (Central Asia) grown under a short (6h light) or long photoperiod (18h light) at 22C, 60% humidity and 130 lux in growth chambers. Seedlings were collected at 9 am and 3 pm at 14, 18, 21 and 24 days after sowing.We examined the patterns of the differentially expressed genes, focusing on the genes related to floral induction such as the FTL paralogs, SOC1 and B-BOX genes.
