Disrupted microbial community reinforced Matthew effect under beneficial bacteria inoculation

Beneficial inoculation has greatly applied into agricultural practices, especially in plant growth promotion and soil-borne disease suppressiveness. Considering that microbial invasion can cause instant and legacy effects on ecosystem, the role of legacy effects in regulating resident community need to be clarified. Here, we conducted a monitoring experiment to test the effects of beneficial bacteria on soil microbial community through high-throughput sequencing and functional indicators determination.
