Purpose: This dataset contains the Age-Adjusted Drug Poisoning or Drug Overdose Mortality Rate Per 100,000 Persons by Colorado Census Tract; Underlying Cause of Death Drug Poisoning or Drug Overdose involving either Prescription Opioid Analgesic or Heroin (2020-2024). Numerator data are calculated from the 2020-2024 Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Colorado Death Statistics. Population estimates for the denominator are calculated from the 2020-2024 U.S. Census American Community Survey. This dataset supports the CDPHE Community Health Equity Map application. Update Schedule and URL: This dataset is updated annually (September) and is provided using death data directly assembled from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Colorado Death Statistics.
