HU-CP: A Patch-Level Concrete Crack Dataset of Walls and Pavements with Record-Level Splits

HU-CP is a dataset of 71,963 image patches (256 x 256 px, JPEG) of concrete walls and pavements, cut from 127 field-photographed records. Each patch is labelled cracked (8,990) or uncracked (62,973) and is accompanied by metadata (surface type, lighting, environment, crack severity and width). Train/validation/test splits are made at the level of source records, so patches from the same photograph never appear in different splits. The folder layout (surface / class) follows SDNET2018. Files: HU_CP_W.zip (walls), HU_CP_P.zip (pavements), HU_CP_X.zip (other surfaces) and HU_CP_tables_README_audit.zip (label tables, README and statistics). Intended use: benchmarking crack classification models, including cross-dataset evaluation against SDNET2018.
